Turn down the volume

I think the volume in my head was adjusted last night. Why is everyone talking and laughing so loudly. Turning of a page, chewing of gum, scrolling around on chairs. Sounds like everyone is screaming. My personal bubble has shifted to about a centre metre above my skin.
